PHILIPPINE SPECIALTY COFFEE

Every cup,
a homecoming.

SMALL-BATCH ROASTED IN PORTLAND,
SOURCED FROM SMALLHOLDER FARMS BACK HOME

The Philippines is one of the only places on earth where all four species of coffee grow: Arabica, Robusta, Excelsa, and Liberica. Most people have never heard that. We work closely with smallholder farming collectives who harvest and process with real care, then roast every batch here in Portland to our own complimentary profiles. Every cup carries a little bit of home.

WHY PHILIPPINE COFFEE

Philippine coffee isn't traded as a commodity. There's no massive export infrastructure, no industrial machinery humming in the background. What there is: farmers. Hands in soil. Coffee that goes from seed to your cup with a human involved at every single step.

We work directly with Filipinos across the supply chain. We pay premium prices to support sustainable wages for farming communities. Every bag you buy goes back to the land bearers back home.

Coffee that's still made by hand

one country,
all 4 species

The Philippines is among the rare few countries that grow all four commercially cultivated coffee species on a single archipelago.

Filipino Direct supply chain

We work with Filipinos at every point in the chain – when possible – so the coffee and the money in it supports other Filipino businesses.

Premium prices,
on purpose

We pay above market rate to support sustainable wages for the stewards and farming communities growing our coffee at origin.

We're in residence at Shop Halo Halo in Portland's West End, a Filipino bakery that feels like someone's lola's kitchen, if lola also had really good taste in interior design.

This isn't just coffee.
It's where you're from.

Barkada means your crew. Your people. The ones who already have a plate ready before you even knock.

We started this because Philippine coffee deserved better than obscurity, and because the farmers growing it deserved more than commodity prices. Every cup we roast is an act of advocacy for the land and the people back home.
